The Mavericks continue to search for upgrades ahead of Thursday’s deadline and they are among the teams with interest in Magic guard Evan Fournier. Dallas has been the “loudest” rumored team for the shooting guard’s services, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report hears.
One rumored package would send James Johnson to the Magic, along with a pair of second-rounders, in exchange for Fournier. The Frenchman will be a free agent at the end of the season and Orlando is lukewarm about offering him a new deal since it’s expected to be a lucrative one.
Dallas was also rumored to be among the teams for Andre Drummond, th0ugh no word on what that package would look like.
