The Rockets are “increasingly” holding trade discussions centered on James Harden, with potential partners outside of just the Nets and 76ers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.
Harden requested a trade, but has returned to practice with the Rockets. Along with the Nets and Sixers, his supposed “wish list” of potential destinations includes the Bucks and Heat.
The Rockets have been keeping Harden in the loop with what’s taking place in their trade talks, ESPN reported.
“Several playoff-caliber teams in the Eastern and Western conferences tell ESPN that they’re finding increased comfort in committing high-level trade assets in talks to acquire Harden,” per the report.
Harden avoided getting specific when speaking with reporters.
“Right now, I’m focused on being here,” Harden he said Wednesday. “Today was good, yesterday felt really good being out there for the first time since the bubble. I hadn’t really had an opportunity to do a lot of five-on-five work. But for my first time being out there, I think I felt pretty good.”
