Houston Rockets guard John Wall will be sidelined for the rest of the season because of a hamstring tweak, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Wall, who missed two calendar years of play due to a left Achilles tear injury suffered in December 2018, is averaging 20.6 points and 6.9 assists in 40 games this season in his first season in Houston after 10 years with the Washington Wizards, as he was dealt for Russell Westbrook.
This should give plenty of opportunities for Kevin Porter Jr. to establish himself as a future building block for the Rockets, as Porter Jr. is putting up averages of 15.5 points and 6.2 assists in 21 games with the Rockets.
