The Toronto Raptors intend to sign free agent power forward Henry Ellenson to a 10-day contract, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Ellenson, 24, is 6-foot-11 and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the No. 18 overall pick in the 2016 draft. He has also spent time with the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, appearing in five games last season.
Ellenson has been dominant with Raptors 905 of the G League on the Disney campus this year, averaging 21.2 points and 8.1 rebounds. He went to training camp with the Raptors in December.
As ESPN’s Bobby Marks reported, Ellenson will earn about $119,000 on his deal with the Raptors, who are currently playing home games in Tampa. Ellenson replaces Donta Hall, whose 10-day contract expired over the weekend.
