The Thunder are sending Hamidou Diallo to the Pistons in exchange for Svi Mykhailiuk and a 2027 second-rounder, Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Detroit views Diallo, who is 22-years-old, as a core player moving forward. Lu Dort’s emergence in Oklahoma City made the former second-round pick expendable.
Pistons GM Troy Weaver recently said he’d be aggressive in searching for deals but cautioned not to expect “fireworks.” Diallo won’t turn heads but he’s another young player whom the team can evaluate.
For Oklahoma City, Sam Presti adds another draft pick in the cupboard. The 2027 second-rounder headed to the franchise is originally from Houston.
