Killian Hayes will miss at least eight more weeks as he continues to nurse a right hip subluxation, the team announces. The rookie will avoid surgery, per David Aldridge of The Athletic, but it’s still not clear exactly when he will return, as the eight-week mark is just the point where Detroit will re-evaluate the ailment.
Hayes only played seven games for the Pistons before injuring himself earlier in the season. He made just 27.7 percent of his shots, struggling on the offensive side of the ball.
Delon Wright continues to start for the Pistons with Derrick Rose backing him up.
