The Indiana Pacers are signing small forward Oshae Brissett to a three-year contract, according to J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star.
Brissett, 27, is 6-foot-7 and signed a pair of 10-day deals with the Pacers, making his first career start in Monday’s home loss to the San Antonio Spurs and scoring 13 points.
Details of his new contract are yet to be determined, though it likely comes with limited guarantees. Brissett went undrafted out of Syracuse in 2019, before latching on with the Toronto Raptors. He initially signed with the Pacers on April 1.
“Brissett should provide frontcourt depth with big man Myles Turner sidelined with a toe injury,” Michael noted.
Also, power forward Domantas Sabonis missed Monday’s game with a sore lower back.
