Speculation around NBA circles suggest the Denver Nuggets have an interest in Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon, who is believed to have been made available ahead of the March 25 trade deadline.
The Nuggets haven’t been able to replace the loss of forward Jerami Grant, currently standing out with the Detroit Pistons after departing Denver in free agency.
Per Chris Sheridan of Basketball News, the price for Gordon “would included Bol Bol.” As Sheridan also noted, the Nuggets have a trade exception worth $9.6 million, “so expect them to make some sort of acquisition to improve the roster.”
The Nuggets are coming off a run to the Western Conference finals, and sit at 23-16 and in fifth place in the West through Tuesday’s games.
Gordon is averaging 13.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 20 appearances this season. He has also drawn interest from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers, per reports.
Along with Gordon, the Magic are reportedly open to at least listening to offers for guard/forward Terrence Ross and guard Evan Fournier, among several others.
