Memphis Grizzlies center Gorgui Dieng is drawing trade interest from several teams ahead of the March 25 deadline, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Grizzlies are open to moving Dieng, Charania added, acquired in a trade in February 2020.
Dieng, 31, is 6-foot-10 and averaging 7.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in 22 games. He is “seen as a rim protector on the open market and is shooting a career-best 47.9 percent from 3-point range this season,” Charania noted.
Dieng is also view as appealing by opposing teams because his contract, worth $17.2 million, is expiring at the end of the season.
