Despite finishing with the best record in the league this season, the Jazz were still unable to get past the second round, which has many people wondering where the organization stands heading into the summer, especially with Mike Conley set to be a free agent.
The Jazz are eager to deal Derrick Favors and the remaining $20 million on his contract, and are open to moving Bojan Bogdanovic and/or Joe Ingles if that can get them a significant upgrade in the offseason, according to Matt Moore of Action Network.
However, two executives denied any of those rumors this week, saying that they plan to “run it back” with the same core that got them the league’s best record, per Moore.
With all the information given to Moore, he believes the Jazz will stand pat. However, he warns that things could change quickly if Conley leaves in free agency.
