Marc Gasol won’t be suiting up for a second stint with the Grizzlies after being dealt by the Lakers, as he will remain in his native Spain with his family.
However, his playing career isn’t over just yet, as he will sign with Girona, according to Eurohoops.net.
Prior to coming to the NBA, Gasol played for Girona from 2006-08, as he was named the MVP of the Spanish league during his stint there. Before his first stint with Girona, Gasol played for Barcelona.
Gasol has had a nice run in the NBA, winning a championship with the Raptors in 2019, a Defensive Player of the Year Award, and two All-NBA selections.
