Domantas Sabonis has a fracture right thumb, though he’s missed only one game because of the ailment and plans to play through the recovery.
Undergoing surgery likely represents the quickest path to recovery, something that could require a four-to-six-week recovery (per The Athletic).
Still, Sabonis is determined to play through and that should be a key element in helping the Kings reach their goal of making the postseason. Sacramento enters the day with a record of 18-15, good for sixth in the Western Conference.
