There is optimism that Giannis Antetokounmpo will play in Game 2 for the Bucks, Sham Charania of FanDuelTV explains.
Antetokounmpo injured his back during the first quarter in Game 1 against Miami and was ruled out for the remainder of the content (which the Heat came away with the win). Game 2 is set to tip off on Wednesday night.

- There is “significant doubt” that Ja Morant will be able to play in the Grizzlies’ Game 2 matchup against the Lakers, Woj reports. Memphis is already without Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke.
- Tyler Herro will miss four-to-six weeks after breaking two fingers in his shooting hand, per Chris Haynes of TNT. “You can’t fully make up what Tyler has been for our team all year long,” Jimmy Butler said (via Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald). “But guys got to step up, including myself, including (Bam Adebayo) and whoever (coach Erik Spoelstra) calls upon to do an offensive assignment, a defensive assignment, to bring some energy, to dive on the floor, get a loose ball or rebound. It’s like all hands on deck at all times and now more than ever.”
- Josh Hart has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle and his status for Tuesday night’s Game 2 clash with the Cavaliers will be determined by how he feels at shootaround, coach Tom Thibodeau told the local media (h/t Ian Begley of SNY.tv).
