The Miami Heat hold the No. 20 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and the franchise is throwing a party for fans at the Kaseya Center to watch the action unfold.
In addition to being the place where fans can come together to see who the Heat select in the 2025 NBA Draft, the event is expected to include several activations, including photo opportunities, free throw competitions on the court, art and drawing exhibits and opportunities to win special giveaways.

Miami Heat Recent Draft History
2024: No. 15 pick + Draft Night Trade
- The Heat selected Kel’el Ware out of Louisville and the big man finished his rookie year ranked second in win shares among all 2024 draftees and earned a spot on the All-Rookie team. The franchise also made a second-round draft trade, acquiring Pelle Larson (44th pick).
2023: No. 18 pick turns into All-Rookie Selection
- The team selected Jaime Jaquez Jr. with the No. 18 selection and the UCLA product currently ranks eighth in career win shares among players from the 2023 NBA Draft.
2022: No. 27 pick turned into contributor
- The Heat selected Nikola Jovic with the No. 27 pick in the NBA draft and despite missing major time with injury, the forward ranks 18th among all players from his draft class in win shares.
2019: An All-Star is drafted in the late lottery
- With the No. 13 pick, the Heat selected Tyler Herro, who made his first All-Star appearance this past season. Herro is one of just four All-Stars from the 2019 draft class and the only player not drafted in the top-5 to earn the nod (Darius Garland, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson).
