The Mavericks will re-sign Tim Hardaway Jr., according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The terms of the contract are four years and $72 million.
Hardaway Jr. came to Dallas in 2019 as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade, as he averaged 16.6 points per game including 39.1 percent shooting from three last season.
The Mavericks hope to build a legitimate title contender around Luka Doncic, and re-signing a legitimate threat to score the ball anywhere on the court will help them reach that level.
The Mavs will also re-sign Boban Marjanovic, per Charania.
