The Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers are among the teams showing interest in Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
With the Magic struggling mightily this season, word is, they are open to moving Gordon. Or as Charania reported, “listening” to calls.
The Timberwolves actually talked to the Magic about Gordon earlier this month. They have also been linked to Atlanta Hawks power forward John Collins, as relayed by our Chris Crouse.
Gordon, 25, is averaging 13.6, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists in 20 games. He has spent his entire seven-year NBA career with the Magic and is under contract through the end of next season.
The Blazers are said to be making exploratory calls on multiple players, though are expected to make only a minor deal, if any.
