The Magic improved to 4-0 so far in this early NBA season. They defeated the Thunder 118-107 in Oklahoma City. The Magic have been playing good, team basketball. This team for the most part has been together for a few years now. So the chemistry is starting to build. Coming off of back to back NBA Playoff appearances in 2019 and 2020, the Magic look ready to take the next step. The Magic are 4-0 to start a regular season for the first time in franchise history. Nikola Vucevic after the win last night stated how proud he is of his team so far.
“We’re happy where we are, to start the season 4-0, but we also at the same time are aware that there are so many things we can do better, especially on the defensive end,” Vucevic said. “The positive is knowing that we were able to win, so now we can work on those things and get better and take a step forward.”
If the Magic continue to play balanced, team-ball they could make some noise out East and surprise some folks come playoff time.
