Free agent shooting guard Alec Burks has agreed to a one-year, $6 million contract with the New York Knicks, his agent told ESPN.
Burks, 29, is 6-foot-6 and appeared in 18 regular-season games with the Philadelphia 76ers following a trade with the Golden State Warriors last season.
He has also spent time with the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers, after spending the first seven-and-a-half years of his career with the Utah Jazz.
Burks averaged a career-high 16.1 and 4.7 rebounds in his 48 games with the Warriors last season.
