The New York Knicks are in advanced talks with Argentinian point guard Luca Vildoza, as first reported by Chema de Lucas of Mi Baloncesto.
Vildoza, 25, is 6-foot-3 and has been playing for Spanish club Baskonia since 2017. He averaged 10.1 points and 3.4 assists in 31 EuroLeague games this season.
This would be an interesting move for first-year Knicks president Leon Rose, who has continuously looked for help in what has been a banner season for the long-suffering franchise.
The Knicks are currently running with Elfrid Payton and Derrick Rose as the primary point guards, and are seemingly ready to move on from Frank Ntilikina.
