Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala to Take Part of NBA Salary in Bitcoin

Andre Iguodala is among the latest NBA players to publicly join the crypto wave, announcing that he would be taking part of his salary in bitcoin (via a partnership with Cash App).

“Bitcoin is the future, (Klay Thompson) and I are both believers,” Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala said. “To make bitcoin more accessible, we’re giving out $1M in bitcoin back to fans today.”

Klay Thompson followed Iguodala’s lead and announced that he would also be taking part of his salary in Bitcoin.

“I’m BACK and changing it up: excited to take part of my paycheck in bitcoin thanks to Cash App! I’m with bitcoin because I believe it’s the future of money…“

Speaking of Thompson, he recently returned for the Warriors after missing over two years with an ACL injury and Achilles injury back-to-back.
