The Orlando Magic earned their seventh victory of the season getting a win over the Toronto Raptors. The Magic defeated the Raptors 113-109. The Magic have now won back-to-back games for the second time this season. Paskal Siakam scored 36 points for the Raptors in losing to the Magic. He had high praise for the Orlando Magic after the loss. He was pushing the fact that in the NBA you can never take any team in the league lightly.
“We came in and everyone was like, ‘Oh, we’re supposed to win.’ But it’s the NBA — there are no games you’re supposed to win,” Siakam said. “We’re all professionals and these teams” come in and they play hard and want to win, and we’ve got to have the same mentality.”
Franz Wagner led the way for the Orlando Magic in the win. Wagner scored 34 points in 33 minutes of play. Wagner shot 12-for-15 from the field. He shot 2-for-4 from behind the three-point line. Wagner also grabbed five rebounds and dished out two assists.
Paolo Banchero scored 23 points in 38 minutes of play. Banchero knocked down 8-for-11 from the field. He knocked down 1-for-3 from behind the three-point line. Banchero grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists,
