The Miami Heat have now won their 21st game of the season to wrap up their recent road swing. The Miami Heat defeated the Phoenix Suns 104-96. Victor Oladipo led the way for the Heat with 26 points on 7-for-10 shooting. Oladipo knocked down 4-for-6 from the three-point line. Heat Head Coach Erik Spoelstra spoke postgame about Oladipo’s return to form.
“He’s been getting more comfortable, more confident, and getting his legs under him,” Spoelstra said about Oladipo. “He’s a big-time X-factor for us on both sides of the floor.” Later Spoelstra added: “We haven’t forgotten who he was. We enjoy being on this journey with him.”
Bam Adebayo scored 21 points on 5-for-9 shooting from the field. Adebayo knocked down 10-for-10 from the free-throw line. Adebayo also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out two assists. Spoelstra also spoke postgame on Bam and the rest of his Heat team postgame and their play as of late.
“Some good things are happening,” Spoelstra said. “And that’s with many moving parts, guys in and out of the lineup. More than anything, I respect that our guys are not making excuses for the moving parts.”
