The Miami Heat won their 21st season victory after defeating the Houston Rockets by a score of 120-113.
The Heat were missing their superstar Jimmy Butler for the eighth game out of their last nine, though despite Butler’s absence, Miami moves to 21-15 on the season and 10-6 at home.
Tyler Herro led the way once again for the Heat, scoring 28 points in 34 minutes of play. Herro shot 10-for-20 from the field and hit 5-for-10 from behind the three-point line. He also made all three shots from the free-throw line. He also grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists.
Bam Adebayo backed up Herro, scoring 22 points on 9-for-12 shooting from the field. Adebayo, who grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out three assists while adding a steal, scored 18 of his 22 points in the second half.
Postgame, the Olympic gold medalist kept things simple about his play after halftime.
“My teammates were looking for me in the second half,” Adebayo said.
