The Orlando Magic earned their 35th victory of the season with a 113-91 blowout victory over the Detroit Pistons. The Magic are now 35-26 overall and 21-8 at home. With their 35th victory the Magic have now surpassed last season’s win total. Magic Guard Markelle Fultz spoke about the Magic’s win and how the team is starting to see the finish line with 21 games left.
“I think it’s big but we’ve got a bigger picture. We are definitely aware of it, but we have bigger goals and higher standards for ourselves.”
Magic Head Coach Jamahl Mosely aslo spoke postgame about the Magic’s win.
“It’s not easy to beat a team four times, but these guys understood what our game plan was from the start. Our ability to sustain our effort and continue to play together is something that I’m very proud of.”
Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic with 29 points on 10-for-16 shooting. Banchero knocked down 1-for-4 from the three-point line. He hit 8-for-9 from the free-throw line. Banchero also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists.
