The Orlando Magic earned their 24th victory of the season with a win over the Phoenix Suns. The Magic defeated the Suns 113-98 to improve to 24-22 overall. Devin Booker of the Suns had a big night scoring 44 points. Despite that, the Magic cruised to a dominant win. Magic Forward Jonathan Issac spoke postgame on the Magic’s win.
“I don’t think anybody’s probably done that all year to them,” said Isaac, who had two of the Magic’s seven blocks. “For us to get it done like that, especially with the way Booker was rolling, to kind of shut them up in the fourth quarter, it’s amazing.”
Paolo Banchero scored 26 points on 9-for-18 shooting. He knocked down 2-for-5 from the three-point line. Banchero knocked down 6-for-9 from the free-throw line. Banchero also grabbed four rebounds and dished out seven assists.
