The Orlando Magic have now defeated the Boston Celtics twice in three days. Both victories came on the road in Boston. The Magic won this recent game against the Celtics 95-92. The Magic have now extended their winning streak to six games. Magic Head Coach Jamahl Mosely spoke postgame regarding his team’s strong play as of late.
“They’re believing and they’re understanding that they’re doing it by committee,” Orlando coach Jamahl Mosley said. “That’s who this team has to be: Gritty, tough, and fighting for one another.”
Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic. Banchero scored 31 points on 9-for-21 shooting. Banchero was hot from behind the three-point line. He hit 6-for-7 from three-point land. Banchero hit 7-for-9 from the free-throw line. Banchero also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists. Banchero spoke on both of Magic’s wins in Boston postgame.
“It means a lot to come out in this environment and get two straight wins against that team, a great team,” Banchero said. “I think it means a lot for our confidence going forward. We know we can compete against anybody. We just have to keep the same level of focus.”
