The Orlando Magic earned their ninth victory of the season with a win over the Atlanta Hawks. The Magic defeated the Hawks 135-124. The Magic have now won four straight games and seem to be putting things together as a team. The Magic had a huge first quarter scoring 50 points. They held a 50-22 lead after the first quarter and seemed to be having a good time on the court. Magic Guard Markelle Fultz spoke on Magic’s performance postgame.
“I kind of thought it was halftime almost,” Fultz said about the big first quarter. “No disrespect, but it was so crazy how well we were doing it. But it was so much fun. This game is so competitive that sometimes you lose sight of how much fun it is. Today we had a lot of fun, and a win like this is going to bring out a lot of team chemistry for sure.”
Franz Wagner led the way for the Magic scoring 24 points on 7-for-17 shooting from the field. Wagner knocked down 3-for-6 from behind the three-point line. He knocked down 7-for-8 from the free-throw line. Wagner also grabbed three rebounds and dished out four assists.
