The Los Angeles Lakers earned their 17th win of the season in Houston. The Lakers defeated the Rockets 132-123 at the Toyota Center. LeBron James led the way for the Lakers and recorded yet another Triple-Double. James scored 32 points on 11-for-19 shooting from the field. He also shot 3-for-5 from the three-point line. James also grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 11 assists. James spoke on how good it felt to simply get a win. The Lakers were able to snap a five-game losing streak.
“The hardest thing to do in this league is win,” James said. “So when you win you never take it for granted.”
Lakers Assistant Coach Fizdale is currently filling in for Coach Frank Vogel. He was happy with the win and praised how his guys banded together short-handed to get the win.
“For us to battle through this together and to finish the way we did with LeBron and Russ doing it together, bringing it home, I think that’s a big step forward in this,” said assistant coach David Fizdale.
