The Washington Wizards were able to get back in the win column against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Wizards defeated the Lakers 127-119 at Capital One Arena.
LeBron James moved into second all-time on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list. Passing Karl Malone officially on a driving layup. Coach Unseld spoke postgame on what it is like facing a guy who puts pressure on you as James does.
“Any time you have to go up against a guy like LeBron, you’re in for a night,” Wizards coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. “He can go off at any point. He had a stretch there which was pretty amazing. The way he’s playing right now, it’s unbelievable.”
Kristaps Porzingis led the way for the Washington Wizards. Porzingis scored 27 points on 9-for-17 shooting from the field. He knocked down 1-for-3 from the three-point line. Porzingis also grabbed three rebounds and dished out five assists. He knocked down some big shots down the stretch to lift the Wizards to the win.
