The Sixers have the Raptors on the brink of elimination. Philadelphia took a 3-0 series lead after defeating the Toronto 104-101 in overtime on Wednesday night.
Joel Embiid hit the game-winning three with 0.8 seconds in overtime to give the Sixers the commanding 3-0 series lead.
“During this whole series I haven’t really thought about coming in here and trying to get my revenge,” Joel Embiid said postgame. “I think I’m more focused on trying to win the whole thing.”
Embiid led the way for the Sixers, scoring 33 points on 12-for-20 shooting (including 3-for-8 from behind the three-point line). He also grabbed 13 rebounds and dished out two assists. Embiid spoke about his game-winning three during postgame as well.
“Great play call, Tobias set an amazing screen, Danny threw a great pass. All I had to do was finish, and I’m glad I did. It felt great but the job’s not done, Embiid added. We’ve got to get one more.”
