The Miami Heat earned their third win of the season in a nailbiter over the Los Angeles Lakers. The two teams put on a show in front of the Miami home crowd. The memories are still vivid and James put on a solid performance in front of the same fans who once cheered him on. “Kudos to Miami,” James said. “They played some perfect ball tonight. We were able to match their intensity. We played some perfect ball as well.”
Jimmy Butler had high praise for LeBron James postgame as well. Butler spoke on the last play of the game where LeBron passed the ball to the corner to Cam Reddish for three. Reddish missed the three and the Heat were able to escape with the 108-107 victory.
“LeBron’s going to be LeBron and pass the ball to the open man,” Butler said. “He did that. He whipped it to the corner … Cam shot it and missed it. Good for us.”
Jimmy Butler led the way for the Miami Heat with 28 points on 9-for-15 shooting. Butler knocked down 3-for-4 from the three-point line. Butler also grabbed four rebounds and dished out six assists.
