The Lakers earned their second victory of the season with a 120-117 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Lakers were saved by the late-game heroics of the newcomer, Matt Ryan. Ryan hit the game-tying three-pointer to send the game into overtime. Austin Reaves made a nice pass to the corner to Matt Ryan. Ryan set his feet in the corner and knocked the three down. Lakers Head Coach Darvin Ham spoke postgame about Ryan’s big-time shot.

“I’m thrilled for him,” Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. “It worked. It was fabulously executed, and Matt had the courage to line it up and knock it down.”

Matt Ryan spoke postgame on the pass and the big shot he knocked down as well.

“The pass was clean, and the defense was just far enough away where I could get it off clean,” Ryan said. “As a shooter, once you can get your feet down and you see the rim clean enough, that made it a lot easier.”

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Lonnie Walker IV combined for 68 PTS in the @Lakers' OT victory! #LakeShow@KingJames: 20 PTS, 10 REB, 8 AST, 2 BLK@AntDavis23: 20 PTS, 16 REB, 4 BLK@lonniewalker_4: 28 PTS, 5 3PM pic.twitter.com/m1jnTmHR8V

This fanbase does not deserve Bron.

Not only some of these “Lakers fans”. I’m looking at a bunch of you so called “LeBron fans”.

Unlike some many of you goofballs, I am enjoying every single moment of this. Will never see anyone like this again.
