The Milwaukee Bucks were able to earn a 117-113 victory over the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. This victory was by no means easy for the Bucks. The Bucks had to rally late in the game to pull this one-off. Their leader Antetokounmpo once again led the way for the Bucks. He was just returning from being out due to being in Covid protocols. Antetokounmpo finished the game with 36 points on 13-for-23 shooting from the field. Antetokounmpo grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out five assists. Antetokounmpo spoke postgame about his strong performance and his return to the lineup.
“It feels good,” Antetokounmpo said. “I was excited to be back, excited to be around my teammates and the fans again and excited to play the game.”
Bucks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer spoke postgame about Antetokounmpo’s return to the lineup. Also, spoke on Giannis’ slow start and how he picked things up as the game went on.
“He’s a guy who likes his reps, the touches and feels he gets,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. “It took a half for him to kind of knock the cobwebs off but he had a great second half and I’m really impressed by him.”
