The Orlando Magic came into game 4 of this first-round series down 2-1 with another game at home in front of their home Orlando fans. The Orlando Magic took care of homecourt winning the game over the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-89. The series is now 2-2 returning to Cleveland on Tuesday, April 30th.
Franz Wagner led the way for the Magic. Wagner scored 34 points on 13-for-17 shooting. He hit 2-3 from the three-point line. He also knocked down 6-for-7 from the free-throw line. Wagner grabbed 13 rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked a shot. Wagner spoke on his mindset after the Magic’s series-tying victory.
“We’re not satisfied at all. We just got two wins. We need two more against them so we’ve got to stay locked in and try to get the next one in Cleveland.”
Franz’s older brother, Mo Wagner had high praise for his younger brother’s performance. He spoke on Franz’s performance postgame.
“Obviously he’s incredible. His awareness, his control of the game is just great. He started off the game distributing the ball and let the game come to him. I’ve got to drive home with him so I want to keep it in check. I don’t want to exaggerate here, but that was one of the best games I’ve seen him play.”
