The Orlando Magic won their fifth game of the season after defeating the Washington Wizards 121-94. The Magic are now 5-6 overall on the season and 4-0 at home. This victory was the Magic’s second blowout win without their Superstar, Paolo Banchero. With Banchero out at least another month, the Magic look to use this win to keep the ship afloat until Banchero’s return to the lineup.
Franz Wagner led the Magic with 23 points on 9-for-20 shooting. Wagner grabbed four rebounds, dished out seven assists, and recorded one steal. Wagner has been stepping up in a big way since Banchero’s injury.
The Washington Wizards fall to 2-6 overall on the season and 1-2 on the road. Jordan Poole led the way for the Wizards with 24 points. Bilal Coulibaly scored 20 points for the Wizards as well.
