The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 124-118 to earn their tenth victory of the season. The Lakers improved to 10-4 overall and 7-0 at home at Crypto.com Arena. This game will be known as the “Dalton Knecht Game.” Lakers Rookie Dalton Knecht was absolutely on fire. He tied the NBA Rookie record for three-pointers made in a game with nine.
Dalton Knecht scored his 37 points on 12-for-16 shooting. Knecht knocked down 9-for-12 from the three-point line. He knocked down 4-for-5 from the free-throw line. Knecht also grabbed five rebounds and recorded a steal on the night. The Lakers moving Knecht into the starting lineup has proven to be the correct move from Lakers’ Head Coach JJ Redick. Knecht is beginning to blossom in a major way.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis also had strong outings as well. James scored 26 points on 9-for-17 shooting. James knocked down 1-for-5 from the three-point line. He knocked down 7-for-11 from the free-throw line. James grabbed two rebounds and dished out 12 assists as well. Davis scored 26 points on 10-for-15 shooting. Davis hit 6-for-10 from the free-throw line. Davis grabbed 14 rebounds, dished out six assists, and recorded two steals.
