The Orlando Magic earned a much-needed victory over the Detroit Pistons. They defeated the Detroit Pistons 121-113 to improve to 24-23 on the season. The Magic also improved to 15-9 at home this season. Previously the Magic had lost five games in a row. They got their original starting lineup back against the Pistons. This was the catalyst that led the Magic to victory.
Paolo Banchero led the way for the Orlando Magic. He scored 32 points on 11-for-22 shooting. Banchero knocked down 3-for-6 from the three-point line. He knocked down 7-for-14 from the free-throw line. Banchero also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out seven assists on the night.
Franz Wagner scored 32 points as well. Wagner scored 25 of his 32 points in the fourth quarter alone. Wagner shot 10-for-22 from the field. He knocked down 4-for-8 from the three-point line. He knocked down 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. Wagner grabbed four rebounds and dished out seven assists.
Jalen Suggs returned to the Magic lineup after missing the last 10 games. He scored eight points in 16 minutes of play.
