The Miami Heat earned their 53rd victory of the season with a 113-109 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night at the FTX Arena.
Coach Erik Spoelstra spoke postgame about the Heat’s gutsy performance.
“It was great just to find a way to gut out a close and competitive game,” Spoelstra said. “If I could have scripted it, this is what it would be. Back and forth, lead changes. It’s good to get back out there. It’s always good to be around the group.”
Bam Adebayo led the way for the Miami Heat. He scored 24 points on 8-for-14 shooting. Adebayo also grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in 33 minutes of play.
Jimmy Butler scored 20 points on 5-for-7 shooting from the field. Butler also grabbed four rebounds and dished out an assist.
