Joel Embiid is nearing a return to the court and it could come as soon as Tuesday night against the Thunder, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.
Embiid, who has only played in 34 games this season, has been out since January 30 because of a knee injury, for which he underwent left meniscus surgery. In the recent days, the reigning MVP has been ramping up his conditioning in anticipation of his return.
The Sixers are motivated to claim a top-six seed in the conference and avoid being placed in the NBA’s Play-In Tournament. The club currently holds a record of 40-35 with seven games remaining in the season.
