Oklahoma City Thunder point guard George Hill underwent thumb surgery and is expected to miss at least four weeks, the team announced.
Hill has missed the previous four games with the injury and the four-week mark set by the team signifies when he will be re-evaluated.
Hill got off to a nice start with his new team, averaging 11.8 points and 3.1 assists, garnering him some fantasy backup consideration.
“With a longer-term absence on tap, the stage is set for rookie Theo Maledon to stick in the starting lineup alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander,” per RotoWire.

He was initially listed as out three-to-four weeks, and this week will mark the fourth.
