Let’s take a look at some injury updates from around the league:
- Kevin Love will miss extended time with a calf strain. He’ll be “reassessed” in 3-to-4 weeks, per the team.
- Isaac Okoro (foot sprain) will miss the Cavs’ contest against the Knicks and Matthew Dellavedova is out indefinitely with a concussion.
- Jimmy Butler is unlikely to play for the Heat against the Bucks tonight, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sentinel reports. Butler suffered a sprained ankle on Christmas Day.
- Lauri Markkanen (calf) is questionable for the Bulls’ contest against the Wizards.
- Russell Westbrook is expected back after being held out of Washington’s game on Sunday.
- Joel Embiid, who missed Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers, should be good to go as the Sixers host the Raptors in Philadelphia.
- Furkan Korkmaz will miss at least two weeks for the Sixers, as we passed along on Monday.
- Marcus Morris won’t play for the Clippers against the Wolves tonight, per the team. He’s dealing with a sore right knee.
- Austin Rivers hasn’t yet suited up for the Knicks and there isn’t a timetable for the guard to make his debut. Rivers, who’s dealing with a groin injury, is making progress, Zach Braziller of The New York Post relays, though the team will be cautious with bringing him along.
- Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss Tuesday’s game at Detroit with a foot ailment.
- Ja Morant has been diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain, as we relayed on Monday night.
