Looking for help inside, the Pacers are signing center Amida Brimah to a two-way contract, his agent told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Brimah, 27, is 6-foot-10 and most recently played with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the G League bubble, averaging 8.0 points and 8.8 rebounds. He has also spent time with the Austin Spurs after going undrafted out of UConn in 2017.
The Pacers (27-31) played their last game without a true center or power forward in uniform — as Myles Turner, Domantas Sabonis and Goga Bitadze were all injured, and JaKarr Sampson suspended. They host the Detroit Pistons on Saturday.
