The Miami Heat were able to get their third win of the season Monday by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder 118-90. The Heat handled their business and at one point broke the game wide open with a 20-0 run.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra continues to tweak the starting lineup each game. His latest change being inserting Kelly Olynyk into the starting lineup.
Spoelstra addressed his adjustments to the lineup that he has made often this season.
“I think the starting lineup is so overstated in so many ways,” he said. “The more important thing is us building consistency with how we want to play.”
Spoelstra is focused on what he needs to do to lead his team to victory. Also, to lead them to victory on a more consistent basis. The Heat have alternated wins and losses in each game so far this season. This accounts for their 3-3 record. But they are improving and are looking to go on a winning streak next.
