The Sacramento Kings are finalizing a trade that will send forward Nemanja Bjelica to the Miami Heat, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
In exchange, the Kings will receive veteran small forward Mo Harkless and power forward Chris Silva, Woj added.
Miami’s trade interest in Bjelica dates back to last month, as Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reported.
He is making $7.15 million this season on an expiring contract.
“To be honest with you, I work my a– off,” Bjelica recently told reporters. “That’s what everybody’s supposed to do when you’re out of the rotation or you don’t play or you play less.”
Bjelica, 32, is 6-foot-10 and averaging 7.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 26 appearances.
Both Harkless, 27, and Silva, 24, have been bit players this season, but could get more of an opportunity off the bench in Sacramento.
This deal follows a Wednesday trade in which the Kings landed point guard Delon Wright from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for point guard Cory Joseph and two second-round draft picks.
