Former NBA forward Josh Huestis has agreed to a deal with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League, according to Nicola Lupo of Sportando.
The Vipers are the Houston Rockets’ affiliate and hold Huestis’ returning player rights.
Huestis, 29, is 6-foot-7 and spent last season with German club Bayern Munich. He was a first-round pick of the Thunder in 2014 (No. 29 overall), and played in Oklahoma City from 2015-18.
He has compiled NBA averages of 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in 76 career games.
Along with the Thunder, Huestis has spent time with the OKC Blue and Austin Spurs of the G League.
