The Utah Jazz have agreed to a three-year contract to bring back forward/center Derrick Favors, according to Tony Jones of the Athletic.
Favors, 29, spent nine straight years with the Jazz before a one-year stint with the New Orleans Pelicans last season.
The deal is worth $27 million and includes a player option on the final year of the contract, per Jones.
Favors averaged 9.0 points and 9.8 rebounds in 51 appearances with the Pelicans, starting in 46 of them. He is expected to provide depth behind the likes of Jazz center Rudy Gobert and Royce O’Neal.
