The Pacers have added Oshae Brissett on a 10-day contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.
Brissett had a nice campaign for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (Pacers’ G League affiliate), averaging 18.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per contest in the Orlando bubble.
To make room for the 6’7″ forward, Indiana waived Jalen Lecque (earlier in the day)
More Notes from the Eastern Conference
- Multiple teams are keeping an eye on Otto Porter Jr., who was traded to the Magic in the Nikola Vucevic deal earlier today. However, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports hears from sources that Orlando will keep Porter, who will be a free agent at the end of the season, on the roster for now.
- The Knicks are expected to be in the mix for Andre Drummond, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report hears. The Lakers and Nets are considered the strongest contenders for the big man, though New York has roughly $15 million in cap space that they can dangle in front of the big man.
- T.J. Warren will miss the remainder of the season, the Pacers announced. Warren played just four games this year before suffering a stress fracture in his left foot.
- Coach Doc Rivers addressed the George Hill trade prior to the contest against the Lakers, telling FortyEightMinutes and other media members that Hill is “one of those guys you like on your team.” Hill is likely to come off the bench for Philadelphia.
