Darius Garland will be among three guys promoted to Team USA for the team’s exhibition games, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Keldon Johnson and Saddiq Bey will also join Garland, as the trio will replace Devin Booker, Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday up until the conclusion of the NBA Finals.
In the event anyone has to drop out, those three players will be eligible to fill in and join Team USA for the Olympics in Tokyo later on this month.
Exhibition games begin on Saturday in Las Vegas, as Team USA will face off against Nigeria to start things off.
