Free agent point guard Quinn Cook has agreed to a contract to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The defending champion Lakers waived Cook after one season together last month.
Cook played 44 games for the Lakers last season, averaging 5.1 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
He re-enters a Lakers point guard rotation that now also includes Dennis Schroder, as well as returnee Alex Caruso. Star forward LeBron James also plays the position on occasion.
