Los Angeles Clippers forwards Paul George will miss at least the next two games with a swollen right toe, coach Tyronn Lue told reporters.
George is expected to be re-evaluated over the weekend. He has missed the last two games with the injury.
“Staying back home and getting some treatment,” Lue said of George. “And we’ll reevaluate when we get back.”
While George is out, the Clippers are expected to get back Patrick Beverley this week, perhaps as soon as Wednesday. Beverley has missed the previous eight games with a sore right knee.
The Clippers (17-8) have lost two straight. They visit Minnesota on Wednesday and Chicago on Friday, before returning home to face Cleveland on Sunday.
